A resposta da Terra
Filled with compelling life stories, the documentary "A Resposta da Terra" (The Earth’s Response) recounts how small-scale farmers, ranchers, Indigenous people, and technical experts from various organizations in the Araguaia-Xingu region—located in the country’s Center-West—have been developing alternatives for a sustainable model of land use. The film’s narrative is driven by the personal accounts and experiences of those directly involved, who illustrate how the project is being implemented and the progress that has been achieved. They show, quite literally, that the seed for a new model has already been planted. The fruits can be seen in this video.

Like many other projects by Estúdio Mó, "A Resposta da Terra" (“The Earth’s Response”) yielded results that exceeded expectations. For starters, the video premiered at the People’s Summit during the Rio+20 Conference—one of the world’s most significant events focused on environmental issues. Furthermore, the photographic material and research conducted by Estúdio Mó served as the basis for the book "A Resposta da Terra", published by the Instituto Socioambiental (ISA), a well-established organization with a nationwide reach.
