In 2023, it was 75 years since the Dutch from various regions of the Netherlands immigrated to Brazil in an agreement between the governments of the two countries to receive families who sought new opportunities after the war.
Many came to the interior of São Paulo, forming a community that, decades later, became the city of Holambra.
In addition to their belongings, immigrants brought their ideas, their beliefs, their customs and their culture that shaped and still shape this small and unique city in the interior of São Paulo.
This documentary is a rescue of this story and a search for what makes this city unique.
Through the story of an immigrant, immerse yourself in the motivations, impressions and difficulties of arriving in Brazil.
